Herbal tea, capsules or extract: which form to choose?
Herbal tea suits you if you enjoy the ritual of a hot drink and spreading your intake over the day. The 100% pure Artemisia annua capsules (500 mg of plant per capsule) are more practical when travelling and give a constant amount of plant with each dose. The pure liquid extract 500 ml is diluted in a glass of water. All three formats are made from the same plant: choose the one that best fits your daily routine.
The plant: origin
Sweet wormwood (Artemisia annua L.) belongs to the Asteraceae family. Native to the temperate regions of Asia, it has been known for centuries in traditional Chinese pharmacopoeia under the name qinghao. Its finely divided leaves are very aromatic; as an infusion they make a herbaceous, bitter drink that a slice of lemon or a spoonful of honey softens. Not to be confused with common mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), a different species.
Storage: keep unopened packs closed; close the opened pack tightly after use and keep it away from moisture, heat and light, out of the reach of children.
