Artemisia annua 95% + ferrine or 100%: what is the difference?
Each capsule in this box contains 500 mg: 95% Artemisia annua L. (sweet wormwood) and 5% ferrine, in a plant-based capsule. If you are looking for the plant on its own, with nothing else, choose our 100% pure formula, as a box of 100 capsules or a pack of 3 boxes. This box of 100 capsules is a good way to start; for several months of use, the same formula comes as a pack of 3 boxes 95% + ferrine, i.e. 300 capsules.
Dosage and length of use
For everyday use, take 1 capsule a day, in the morning, 15 to 30 minutes before a meal, with a large glass of water. It is customary to take it in courses of 20 to 30 days, which can be repeated after a short break. The table below shows how long each format lasts.
| Daily intake | Amount per day | This box (100 capsules) | Pack of 3 (300 capsules) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 capsule | 500 mg | 100 days (about 3 months) | 300 days (about 10 months) |
| 2 capsules, on the advice of a healthcare professional | 1 g | 50 days | 150 days (about 5 months) |

The plant
Sweet wormwood (Artemisia annua L.) is a plant of the Asteraceae family, native to the temperate regions of Asia, where it has long been known as qinghao. An annual, it can grow over one metre tall and has finely divided, highly aromatic leaves with a bitter taste: the capsule lets you avoid that bitterness. Its dried aerial parts are used. It should not be confused with common mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris), a different species.
Storage
Keep the box tightly closed, at room temperature, away from moisture, heat and light, and out of the reach of children. Plant-based capsules are sensitive to moisture: close the box after each use and avoid storing it in the bathroom.
Frequently asked questions
How many Artemisia annua 500 mg capsules should I take per day?
1 capsule a day for everyday use, i.e. 500 mg. Do not exceed 2 capsules a day, and only on the advice of a healthcare professional.
How long does a box of 100 capsules last?
100 days at 1 capsule a day, i.e. about 3 months, or 50 days at 2 capsules a day: enough for several 20- to 30-day courses from a single box.
Should I take the capsules on an empty stomach or with a meal?
Preferably in the morning, 15 to 30 minutes before a meal, with a large glass of water. Taking the capsule at the same time every day helps you not to forget it.
Capsules or sweet wormwood tea: which to choose?
Tea is made with the dried leaves and keeps the plant's very bitter taste. A capsule gives you the same amount every day, with no preparation and no bitterness, and is easy to carry. It is a matter of preference and convenience.
Are there any contraindications?
These capsules are not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women or for children. If you are under medical treatment or have a health condition, ask your doctor or pharmacist before starting. They are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet.
